PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Mosaic Brazil: A Panorama of Social Justice
featuring The Ohio State University
Over years of facilitating international learning journeys for thousands of students, we have discovered that by engaging students to work on real-world projects with local students, we offer them the opportunity to put their classroom learning into practice and develop practical skills, while being exposed to a new culture, expanding their networks and gaining practical experience in multicultural communication.
The “Mosaic Brazil: A Panorama of Social Justice” program, held in partnership with The Ohio State University, explores the intersections of identity, ethnicity, gender, and social justice through an in-depth analysis of Brazil’s political, legal, socioeconomic, and anthropological landscapes.
Throughout the program, students collaborated directly with Brazilian students, developing essential skills to work in an interconnected and global environment while working on real-world projects for four local social impact organizations: Coletivo Criação, Meu Copo Eco, Casa Cruzeiro and Ong Criola.
We invite you to explore this amazing international learning journey!
