what we do:
Safety & Risk Management
Ensuring your students’ safety while they focus on their learning experience abroad is our top priority. We are committed to fostering a secure and supportive environment for all participants.
Our comprehensive Safety & Risk Management protocols are designed to anticipate, prevent, and respond effectively to any challenges that may arise. We offer:
Safety & Crisis Management Plan
Campus b has a comprehensive Safety & Crisis Management Plan, which serves as our primary protocol for preventing, assessing, and responding to potential risks. This structured approach ensures that our team is fully prepared to manage any situation effectively and provide the necessary support to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
Liability Insurance
Campus b provides liability insurance for all programs, in line with the standards required by most U.S.-based universities. This ensures coverage and peace of mind in the event of unforeseen incidents or emergencies, safeguarding both participants and the program as a whole.
Comprehensive Risk Assessments
From the initial planning stages to program completion, the Campus b team follows rigorous guidelines to mitigate risks. Quality and risk assessments are conducted for each program, taking into account the local conditions, accommodations, transportation, health standards, and cultural contexts.
Reliable Local Suppliers
All service providers are carefully vetted to meet our standards. We ensure that our local partners adhere to safety protocols, offering a reliable and secure experience for students.
Trained Local Program Assistants
Each group is supported by a dedicated Campus b Program Assistant, available 24/7. Our assistants undergo specialized training in safety, ensuring they are fully equipped to handle a wide range of situations and provide effective support at all times.
24/7 Campus b Support
Our dedicated team is available around the clock to assist students and staff with any safety concerns, emergencies, or logistical challenges. Each group is assigned a 24/7 Local Program Assistant and also provided with a 24/7 Emergency Contact Number for additional support.
Pre-Departure & Arrival Orientation Safety Briefings
Students and faculty receive safety briefings before departure and upon arrival. These sessions include essential information on local laws, health precautions, and cultural sensitivities, ensuring that participants are well-prepared for a safe and enriching experience.
Emergency Mental Health Support
Students experiencing psychological distress during our programs can request emergency support through Campus b’s licensed partner professionals. These professionals offer immediate assistance and provide recommendations for a course of action based on the student’s individual needs.
