The 2020 pandemic has presented to the world a new set of opportunities which increases the need for social innovation in order to create effective solutions to those most vulnerable.

Due to its size, Brazil offers a perfect experiential learning environment that encourages entrepreneurial actions to mitigate issues ranging from social and economic inequality problems to sustainable environmental decisions. A key to this puzzle is to understand how the third sector, social projects, and social businesses are interacting to prioritize social impact to overcome current challenges in Brazil.

PROJECT

OVERVIEW

A team problem-based Learning Project (4-5 students per team), leadership development in solving a problem and mentoring, Intercultural Skills Enhancement, personal development (Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication), virtual learning immersion.

 

This project will be managed with the following structure:

– 1 Program Orientation

-2 Special Lectures

-3 Project Mentoring Sessions

-3 Cultural Language Immersion (Prerecorded Video)

– 1 Roundtable with B-Corp Leaders

– 3 company interactions

– 1 Project Presentation
